about
atomsphere is an atlas of nuclear data, past and present. It maps the intersection of atomic energy, collective memory, and technological change, inviting reflection on its environmental and societal impact.
A non-profit educational initiative, atomsphere sources data from independent civic tech networks and public scientific institutions, sharing it under fair use principles for research and education. It is the successor to DUST, an environmental VR experience visualizing particulate matter, developed within the civic tech network Sensor.Community.
By producing, curating, and distributing environmental data, atomsphere advances transparency, education, and civic engagement—strengthening public access to critical knowledge.
